Special Presentation:
Oklahoma City, 1995

Today, we're covering something completely different.
Picture
Every year, on April 19, I remember my fifth year of teaching.

It was 1995.

As we are currently learning from home,
this is the first time I will not have the opportunity
to share my experience with students in person.

Here is my attempt in response to our current situation.
1.  Introduction:  A Beautiful Morning
2.  Our Experience/Our Point of View

3.  Search and Rescue
4.  Aftermath
5.  Faces of Terror

6.  The Change
7.  News Report (optional video)
8.  Application
We often talk about how we treat other people.  A good illustration of bullying is to think of it as sandpaper, while it is better to use words and actions that are more like soft velvet.  How do you treat other people - even those who disagree with you?

9.  Emptiness
10.  The Memorial
11.  The Museum

12.  Conclusion
How might you express yourself after hearing about such an event?  Some people express their emotions through art.  Others like to journal their thoughts.  Still others go for a run while mulling their thoughts.  How about you?  What does this lesson set make you think about?  Shoot me a message, and let me know what you do in response to this special presentation.
Know this:  every positive response to a negative act moves us forward.
